Welcome to Education for Needy Foundation website

Our Mission:

To support and sponsor needy and vulnerable students access quality and ethics-based education.

The E4N Foundation (Education for Needy Foundation) is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization that fights for equality through education and we strongly believe education is the seed of opportunity that breaks the cycle of poverty, oppression and marginalization.

The immediate effect of poverty in Kenya is the overwhelmingly high illiteracy Level (as high as 78%) due to the extremely high school drop-out rates. Although primary school education is free, students desperately need books, pens or pencils, uniform and other necessities in order to continue with their education; without which many of them drop out of school.

Most families in Kenya have little or no source of income to support the upkeep and education of their children thus cannot provide stationery,

uniforms and other necessities for them.

After the eighth grade, students go to secondary schools which  is by far more expensive than Primary School Education and only very few and privileged children can afford to attend.
E4N Foundation, focuses on sponsoring and supporting needy and vulnerable students from poverty-stricken families acquire quality and ethics-based education

E4N Foundation, fights for equality through education and our dream is to see a world where every child has the opportunity to access quality education regardless of gender, religion or financial inability.

We have designed a number or programs in order to achieve our Mission.

We work closely with vulnerable population of children including the orphaned, marginalized, discriminated and those living in dire poverty.

We provide the basics for child education like stationery, uniforms and fees (Secondary Schools ,College and University) to offer them a better start in life.

Critical thinking, compassion and tolerance in a person's life can only be achieved through good and quality education.

You can also help educate a needy child.
